
Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by the independent, self-employed contractor ("the Contractor") offering garden and property maintenance services. By booking or using any services, the client ("the Customer") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services
The Contractor provides garden and property maintenance services, including but not limited to:

Lawn mowing and lawn care

Hedge trimming and pruning
-
Weeding and general garden maintenance
-
Garden clearance
-
Pressure washing
-
Minor property maintenance tasks
All services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
3. Quotations and Estimates
All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of inspection or enquiry.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Additional work requested by the Customer may incur additional charges.

If unforeseen circumstances arise (such as excessive overgrowth, hidden debris, or access restrictions), the Contractor reserves the right to adjust the price accordingly, with agreement from the Customer where possible.
4. Scheduling and Access
Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.
If access is not available at the scheduled appointment, the Contractor may charge a call-out fee.
The Contractor reserves the right to reschedule work due to:

Severe weather
-
Illness
-
Equipment failure
-
Other unforeseen circumstances
In such cases, a new appointment will be arranged as soon as possible.
5. Payments
Payment terms will be agreed prior to work commencing.

Payment may be required upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.

For regular maintenance services, payment may be required weekly or monthly.

Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods.
Late payments may incur additional charges.
6. Waste Removal
Unless agreed otherwise, green waste and garden debris may either be:

Removed from the property for disposal (additional charges may apply), or
-
Left in a designated area for the Customer.
Waste disposal fees may apply depending on the amount and type of waste.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for:

Ensuring pets are secured during visits

Informing the Contractor of any hazards or hidden obstacles (e.g., wires, pipes, fragile items)
-
Ensuring access to water or electricity if required for the work
The Contractor will not be responsible for damage caused by hidden or undisclosed hazards.
8. Liability
The Contractor will take all reasonable care while carrying out work.
However, the Contractor shall not be held responsible for:

Pre-existing damage to property, fences, lawns, or plants

Damage caused by hidden objects beneath grass or soil

Damage resulting from severe weather conditions
Liability for any valid claim shall be limited to the value of the work carried out.
9. Cancellations
Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.
Regular service clients who repeatedly cancel appointments may have their service terminated.
10. Health and Safety
The Contractor reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are considered unsafe, including but not limited to:

Dangerous weather conditions

Unsafe property conditions
-
Aggressive animals
-
Hazardous materials
11. Damage and Complaints
Any concerns or complaints must be reported within 48 hours of the service being completed.
The Contractor will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues.
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always apply to services provided.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
